LEGO Star Wars Hail-Fire Droid & Spider Droids

LEGO-Star-Wars-Hail-Fire-Droid-&-Spider-DroidsWhat do you plan on giving your son for Christmas? If you are thinking of giving him the same old boring toy guns, matchbox cars or computer games, that probably would not excite him. This Christmas, make it a little different by giving your son something that would not only give him endless fun with his friends, but will also develop his cognitive and motor skills. Nowadays, this can be achieved not by something boring like drawing books which he probably wouldn’t look at. Do this by giving him the LEGO Star Wars Hail-Fire Droid and Spider Droids.

The LEGO Star Wars Hail-Fire Droid and Spider Droids is a 249-piece LEGO set that features the highly powerful Hail-Fire Droid. In the Star Wars movie, the Hail-Fire Droid is one of the most powerful, creating massive destruction to other droids. The giant-wheeled Hail-fire droid comes with eight fire-flick firing missiles to defend your child’s chosen group. Also, a spider droid that is heavily armed and has a super armor is available to back up the Hail-fire in case there are more enemies. To further strengthen your child’s army, LEGO has also included a battle droid commander and two battle droid soldiers.

The LEGO Star Wars Hail-Fire Droid and Spider Droids is a perfect addition to either your son’s LEGO or Star Wars collection. On top of that, it is also good to play with other starfighters from the Star Wars LEGO collection. Not only will this keep your son occupied for hours, it will also help him develop his cognitive skills once he starts to put the pieces together.
If you want to give something worth the penny this Christmas, go for the LEGO Star Wars Hail-Fire Droid and Spider Droids. You are assured that you not only satisfy your child’s appetite for adventure, you also feed his brain!
A note to parents: this toy contains small parts not recommended for children 3 years old and below. For younger children, adult supervision is advised to ensure that no accidents will occur.

my grandsons are age 7 & 9 and both of them love LEGO. This set like most of them was great, the older one put it together in pretty short time and said, this is his most favorite set he has built up till today.
The seller was great too, we received package within one week since it was ordered.
Thank you.

This was a Christmas gift to a very happy little girl. It was hard to find and impossible to find in the stores. Glad to discover it through Amazon.
My grandson loves it!

This was my grandson, Kahlil's, first Star Wars Lego set. He works with blocks, Legos, all sorts of building and creation toys. He was ecstatic upon receiving this set and plays with it all the time. He makes his own creations from it as well. Wonderful for the imagination!
Great set

The Hailfire Droid & Spider Droid (set 7670) is a fairly amusing set. I had collected LEGOs when I was younger (being now 24) and have not purchased any new sets until just recently. I saw the mid size Millennium Falcon at walmart and that sparked my interest in LEGOs again. I wanted this set because it just looks freaking cool. I just wanted the hailfire droid. I could care less about the spider droid (I assembled it anyways). The big wheels and cool treads made the Hailfire droid very attractive to me. When I finished putting the whole thing together, I found that the large clear discs that make the wheels are securely fastened in place and do not rotate whatsoever. Well, that just won't do. I wanted it to roll. I tried simple different configurations to get the wheels to roll. One method worked a little but the outer fender would wobble loose. I decided to grind off the studs on the clear plates so that the wheels would spin freely on their axels. *NOTE* I used a motorized Dremel to shave off the studs and I used Eye protection. Power tools should never be operated without adult supervision.
After smoothing the plates down, I reassembled the set and I am very happy with it. The model rolls along as it should. The spider droid is very simple to assemble and looks funny. The set comes with four minifigs, three battle droids (one being a yellow chested Droid Commander) and one Super battle droid (which really looks dumb) The battle droids all have SE-14 Blaster pistols.
Corollary: The assembly of the wheels asks you to use 40 links to make the treads. 40 links proves too loose. 39 links works perfectly.
There are a few extra pieces left over after assembly.
This set is really nice.

This toy is fun but the halfire part is less than the spider droid it has a good num of battle droids but the super battle droid keeps falling down! It is great for expanding your sepertist army! (the trade federation, dark side or whatever you want to call it)the set is under valued! It is worth [...] dollars! You have to buy it before LEGO notices! lol. but i like it!
My nephew loves it

... it is fun, durable but of course it does not help to educate your child.
Hail Fire Droid

This is an okay set. It comes with a commander droid, (you can only find these in one or two other sets) spider droid and hailfire droid, and a super battle droid and two battle droids.
pros:
-commander droid
-Powerful
cons:
-boring to play with alone
-loops around the wheels is tedios

A decent set, get it to strengthen your droid army, not to play alone or model.
Good Set.

Another nice set from Lego Star Wars. You could even say this is another 'droid battle pack', since all the characters here are droids (Hailfire, Spider, Droid Commander, 2 Battle Droids, Super Battle Droid).
Easy build but a nice addition to your Droid Army collection.

Pro's-Hailfire droid design with movable treads and 8 flick fire missiles.

Con's-Super Battle Droid has both arms normal. Meaning, one of his arms isn't the 'gun' arm that the newer Super Battle Droids have. They've improved on this with the newer mini figures.

I gave this as a gift to nephews who are both Lego and Star Wars fans, and this was a hit. And the price was right, given today's economy.
Fun and more fun

My grandson and I put this together and enjoyed a great time together. He is a Star Wars nut and is always playing with it. Lego makes a fun and durable toy. I recomend any Lego toy.
